Pictures (where they are…)

Wednesday, September 28th, 2005

Coming :)

They are all on my computer, but I have to upload them and I just haven’t yet. Mostly ’cause I’m going to have to comb through and pick only interesting shots. Trust me, sometimes when you are driving along at 40 mph, not everything you aim the camera at works out.

Though here’s a taste…

Speaking of Airports

Saturday, September 17th, 2005

At least the Vegas airport has free wifi, ’cause otherwise it would just suck. Ok, that’s not entirely fair. It’s not so bad. But I’m annoyed that I don’t have a view of the casinos from here.

The Road Home

Saturday, September 17th, 2005

Hey, I can’t help but post when possible from the airports that I’m in. Especially when the wireless access is free (WOOO!)

I’ve got about another hour until my flight to DC starts boarding. I’m already tired and my plane won’t get in until 7:30 EST (morning, of course).

Who wants to throw me a a pity party? :)

Anyway, I have more pictures that will be going up and some video, too. Won’t happen until later, but this way you can all just drool in anticipation.

I know you are.

Crazy-ass Road System

Tuesday, September 13th, 2005

I will have to post a picture at some point, but suffice it to say that you can be at the intersection of 800 and 800.

And more than once. And roads can have literally multiple addresses.

It’s… mind boggling.

Pictures from Utah

Tuesday, September 13th, 2005

So for those who refuse to click on the Gallery link in the sidebar, there are new pictures up.

These are from last night and today. Last night consists of passing through Phoenix, and today is the morning and then after training.

Utah!

Tuesday, September 13th, 2005

Well, I’m in Utah.

Utah? You say. Yes, Utah.

For training… no, I won’t carry that stupidity out further. I’m here for training in Symentac’s Ghost software.

It’s 11:46 here, or 1:46 (or is that 2:46? bah, it’s sometime) to my body. And training starts at 9 and will take me about 20-30 minutes (best guess) to get there. So I’m leaving here at 8-ish to be early rather than late. Which means I’m getting up at 7 or so (or rather, before and hitting snooze probably).

I got some, hopefully, great shots of a really spectacular sunset while at the Phoenix airport. Those, plus any that I get over the next few days (here ’til Friday) will go up.

Whether they go up from here or when I get home, you never know.

Definitely the pictures from Friday won’t go anywhere until I get home. My return flight goes through Vegas, so maybe some stuff will be lit up that I can snag. If not, there will simply be a dark picture for that airport.

Anyway, now I’m going to sleep.
